Liverpool would be welcoming their Merseyside neighbour Everton for the 228th Merseyside derby at Anfield.

Both teams have lost some key players during the international break. Everton has lost Coleman who is expected to be out for nearly a year. Also, Funes Mori is out injured after withdrawn from Argentina vs Bolivia game due to the knee injury. Koeman would be expecting to partner the experienced central defenders Williams and Jagielka. It’ll be interesting to see whether Koeman opts for youngster Holgate for the right back position or not. Alternatively, he would use Barry as right back just like Milner has been used as left back for Liverpool.James McCarthy is doubtful for this game as he already missed Ireland games due to injury.Morgan Schneiderlin has been ruled out due to the calf injury. Sturridge who’s shot helped Liverpool win over Everton at Goodison is expected to return from the injury. However, he might have to satisfy with a place on the bench. Coutinho and Firmino took part in the training on Thursday after they were flown back by a private jet. Coutinho might be playing in the midfield with Origi starting up front. Alternatively, Lucas might start in the midfield which would allow Coutinho, Firmino and Mane to start up front.
